Raster image editing will enable you to resize images, enhance details and optimise photos for various screen sizes. When an image is intended for a larger display, such as a television, it is advisable to view the image at its size to check for softness, pixels and other artifacts. Visuals Clipping explains that this helps prevent these problems. To create many versions of the same image without having to edit a previously reduced image, it is easier to keep an original high-resolution version.
